For the first time, the festival lands at The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne, a bold new home that opens the door to bigger experiences, more producers, and more room to explore. Building on last year’s Whisky Spectacular, this edition takes things further with new distilleries, fresh voices, and immersive masterclasses designed to take you across continents, one dram at a time.

Across Saturday and Sunday, explore full-day sessions at our new home, The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne, with more space, more stories, and more whisky than ever before. Meet 50+ distilleries and importers and taste your way through 700+ whiskies from across the globe.
Enjoy 15ml pours at your own pace as you travel from region to region, style to style. With tastings starting from just $3 per nip, you’re free to explore widely and discover something unexpected. Select exhibitors will also offer bottles for purchase, so you can take a favourite destination home with you.
Beyond the tasting tables, Destinations comes alive with immersive masterclasses, a whisky-forward beer garden, food trucks, and live music — all designed to keep you lingering, learning, and soaking up the atmosphere throughout the day.

The 2025 Whisky Abbey welcomed over 60 Australian and global whisky brands, adding up to more than 600 whiskies, 1200 Australian whisky enthusiasts, a host of hospitality professionals, international attendees and presenters, and 10 diverse masterclasses – and all just over two jam-packed days. Top Australian whisky bars will also have their own stalls, showcasing rare and intriguing whiskies from all corners of the country. For 2026, we plan to bring even more excitement to local and international whisky enthusiasts, with international exhibitors and additional small Australian distillers showcasing their groundbreaking new goods.
